As always, so well said! Listening is so important, and not listening so that you can prepare your response but just…listening. Something that really helps me when I need to work through a problem is to just tell the story to someone else. I ask them to listen to me explain the problem, and 90% of the time, once I’m finished explaining it, I have a decent idea of how to solve it. So I suppose I’m lucky to have found people who know that I just need them to listen, and are patient enough to do so.
